Get Involved

The Computer Security Group has no formal membership process. Meetings are open to all current UTD students and attending meetings is enough to consider yourself a member.

Meetings

Meetings are held every Wednesday at 7 pm, excluding the first Wednesday of the month. For Fall 2020, meetings will be held mostly on YouTube. More information can be found on the homepage of the website.

The tentative meeting schedule can be found here: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=lj04ipu83iafckjn367oclhl2g%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FChicago

Mentor Program

CSG and our fantastic CTF planning committee are pleased to announce the start of the CyberSec Mentorship program. Applications for mentor and mentee are closed for this semester, but keep an eye out for future openings!

We use Discord for our primary means of communication. Join us at: https://discord.gg/kuejt8p

Live Streams

Interested in streaming on the UTD CSG channel? This is a great opportunity to show walkthroughs of CTF challenges, Hack the Box machines, or any other security topic you'd like to show off. However, please check the terms of service of the site if you're doing a walkthrough, we will not permit streaming that breaks a site's ToS.

Current students, staff, and alumni welcome.
